Can children participate in the motor tours?

Yes! Children can ride as passengers on the back of a quad bike driven by an adult, or in the passenger seat of a buggy. Teenagers (usually 14+ depending on height and maturity) may drive their own quad bike after passing a brief safety assessment by our guides.

Can we go without a guide?

For your safety and to protect the fragile desert environment, all of our motor activities are fully guided. The Erg Chebbi dunes are vast, and it is very easy to get lost or stuck in deep sand without an experienced local leading the way.
